At the heart of this trail is the Memory Bear, designed by local artist and illustrator Becky Shepperson, who sees this project as a meaningful way to give back to her community.

Shepperson's design philosophy for the Memory Bear is a celebration of life's joyful memories. "My whole concept was to create a sculpture that evokes a sense of reminiscence and joy," she explains. The bear, adorned with playful doodles, is a canvas for the names of those who have passed, adding a profound layer of meaning and connection.
